(Note: This originally appeared as an introduction from me when I began at Bebo. I tweaked it a little for my blog.)
I promised myself I’d never plaster myself on the Internet. But here I am a stranger in a strange land, blogging. A friend tells me it can be fun; a roll in the hay she says. Start by introducing yourself. Just be honest and be yourself.
Okay, here goes. I moved here to Pennsylvania last summer. I don’t have many friends here because I’m a loner-type … I spend a lot of time inside my mind. But not at work. I work at a bank, which seems like 24/7 lately. When I escape, I dance a lot, alone. I did performance dancing when I was a child. Solo dancing is for the artist. Sometimes I think I’m an artist. Other times I’m not so sure.
I left home when I was 18 and haven’t been back since. Home was San Diego but now it is Erie, PA. I love northwest PA and the snow. Snow is cool, so I’m excited for winter to get here. I have a 2002 Ranger to get me around when it does.
I have 2 cats and a dog, but I’m more of a dog person. My dog Trinity is a golden retriever, one of the nicest dog to own. Trinity likes to eat spaghetti. So do I—I love mine with Italian wine. Neither Trinity nor I are Italian!
Speaking of spaghetti, my dinner is almost done cooking. The sauce is simmering and Trinity is watching anxiously at his spot near the refrigerator. I must go now, but I promise to return.
“Ciao” for now.
